Here's the deal - Southport Heights is all about sharing the love of God with as many people as possible. We strive to celebrate Him through everything we do and say. We want every person who interacts with us to know Jesus and His plan for their lives.

As early as 1956, a group of Christians began formulating the need to plant a new church in the Southport area. On Sunday, October 25, 1959, Southport Heights Christian Church officially opened her doors. The church’s strong emphasis on teaching the Bible and supporting missions has been evident throughout its long history.

At SHCC, we are committed to three things:

We strive to help people find a deep relationship with Jesus, connect deeper with those around them and live out their faith in real life. Our focus on the future is firmly planted on Jesus Christ.
